Hello Aaron,

I am a two time Olympic Norwegian runner that saw your blog in the list at Completerunning. Do you have Norwegian/Scandinavian ancestors, looking at your name ?

For winter workouts/early spring, when the weather is like that, one thing you may consider is sticking to the treadmill for most of the runs. In the harsh Norwegian winters, I do all my quality runs on the treadmill with excellent results. Treadmill running is quite underestimated - when compared to outdoor running I have personally found it as effective if not even more..

Keep up the good work & good luck with your future running.

Regards from Norway.

Great picture, do you have any of your Thanksgiving trip? Maybe a group shot of the whole family? Someone told me you were going to email me some photos. I see that you are very busy. Glad to hear you are all well.

Aaron, I am sorry to hear about the DNF. It was a brutal day, I assume that had something to do with it? I was looking for you at mile 10! I did see Ben Wilinski, of all people. I think he finished around 5:15.

I have been using Windows Live Writer now for awhile. I really like it, especially b/c you can write off-line and also for my 2 different blogs without having to sign into blogger under 2 different screen names!

Good Luck!

I'm glad you enjoyed Denver. I live in Denver so when I go on vacation (specifically when I run on vacation) I always notice that there is a lot more air to breathe.
